Denys Nienov holds LL.B. and LL.M. (magna cum laude) degrees in Criminal Law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He is a member of the Ukrainian National Bar Association and the Ukrainian Bar Association.
Since 2013, he has specialised in criminal proceedings in Ukraine and internationally, focusing on cross-border investigations and extradition.
At Amadeus, Denys advises on strategy for complex cross-border matters for a global clientele. He regularly represents private individuals and states before INTERPOL. He has significant experience in criminal investigations related to economic and professional misconduct, covering both pre-trial and judicial stages. Denys manages cases involving detention, house arrest, and bail, while also advocating for victims seeking to recover damages from fraud and other illegal activities. His expertise extends to defending clients in extradition proceedings and addressing the adverse effects of security measures such as searches, seizures, and property attachments in criminal cases.
In addition to his criminal law practice, Denys has worked in international arbitration, handling high-profile cases from the CIS region.
